Dermatology is the medical term for the treatment or management of skin conditions which can include rashes, lesions, lumps on the skin, changes to moles and skin cancer.
NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) is responsible for commissioning the providers of dermatology services for the people of Kent and Medway.
The ICB buys dermatology services by issuing a contract to a provider following a competitive tendering process. The ICB then manages the contract to make sure the service provided meets the specifications set out in the contract.

To make sure we get the right services for people in Kent and Medway, we actively listen to patients. It is important to hear what your expectations and experiences are from your dermatology services.
We have developed a survey for recent users of dermatology services so you can tell us what you think.
The survey will close at noon on Friday, 27 March 2026.
We would like to reassure you that patients will continue to receive treatment from existing community dermatology services throughout this process. Any existing care or treatment you are receiving will continue to be provided.
