NHS 111 is a free service in England that you can use to get urgent medical help or advice for non-life-threatening situations when you're unsure what to do or can't contact your GP.
When you need medical help fast but it is not an emergency, visit 111.nhs.uk or call the NHS free phone number 111. The service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
If you contact NHS 111, you will be assessed, given advice and, if needed, directed to the most appropriate local health services.
