Plan ahead

Even with the best precautions and support in place, a time may come when
you realise that you can't stay living independently in your home.

Although it may be a difficult decision to take, it is sensible to do this in a planned way and not in a crisis, when you may be recovering from illness or injury and need to take decisions very quickly.
